Matthew Steele, Ph.D., P.E.
Matthew Steele is the owner and principal of Steele Engineering, LLC an engineering and environmental services firm. Previously, Matt was the Section Chief of the Livestock Waste Management Program at KDHE. He has worked as an engineer in the region for 19 years in both the private and public sectors and in both the Civil and Agricultural Engineering fields. Projects include livestock facility permitting and design, anaerobic digestion, environmental testing, state and federal environmental compliance assistance, legal engineering services, ethanol plant site design, subdivision layout, industrial and residential site design.
Matt grew up in Scott City where his family owned and operated Steele and Son’s Feedyard. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Kansas and holds Ph.D., in Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering from Oklahoma State University and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from Kansas State University
